• Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We use this to create and manage your account.
• Content you provide: Product URLs you paste for analysis, project names, features, taglines, and other data you enter when creating slideshows. We process this to generate slides for you.
• Uploaded files: If you upload CTA screenshots or other images, we store them to include in your generated slides.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs (e.g., which features you use). We use this for security, debugging, and improving the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide the Slidetik service, including scraping product URLs, extracting content, generating AI slides, and storing your projects; (b) authenticate you and manage your account; (c) respond to support requests; (d) improve our service and fix bugs; (e) enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse; and (f) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, we process your data based on: (a) contract—to perform our agreement with you to provide the service; (b) legitimate interests—to improve the service, ensure security, and prevent fraud; and (c) consent—where we have asked for and you have given explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or deleting your account.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third parties to operate the service:

These providers may process data in the United States or other countries. By using Slidetik, you consent to such transfers where required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal compliance (e.g., tax records, dispute resolution). Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained for analytics.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication (via Supabase) and to remember your preferences. These are necessary for the service to function. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may prevent you from signing in or using the service.
